Annual General Meeting

The CSCA Annual General Meeting is an opportunity to celebrate the achievements of the organization in the past year, and to set a course for the next year in our effort to promote the profession of strength and conditioning in Canada.

All members are invited to attend Sunday, November 24, 2024 at 6:00pm EST which will be hosted virtually through the Zoom platform. Details have already been sent to the CSCA membership, however, if you are not yet a member, you are able to attend and vote if you secure your membership prior to the AGM.

At this year’s AGM we will be discussing our achievements this year, including the following:

  • French language translation of our website
  • Launch of the Canadian Strength and Conditioning Professional (CSCP) Legacy accreditation
  • The creation of a new strategic plan.
  • Cross-Canada regional conferences
  • New strategic partnerships
  • An enhanced digital communications strategy

As we transition into a new and refreshed Board of Directors there will be many initiatives that we will be rolling out in the next year, including:

  • The CSCP New Professional credential
  • Resource guide for new professional continuing education
  • Expanded French language options
  • Improved conference design
  • Communications strategy for better stakeholder engagement

There are ample opportunities to contribute to the association, and our field, for those who are willing.

The evening will be anchored by our keynote presenter, Jay Peacock from the Canadian Sports Psychology Association, who will be presenting on the development of resilience in athletes.

Please join us on November 24 6:00pm EST and help us to continue building the strength of our nation.
