LOCATION: Concord, Richmond Hill, Aurora & Newmarket, Ontario, Canada
POSITION TITLE: Strength & Conditioning Coach
INDUSTRY: High Performance Living & Athletics
JOB TYPE: Contract
DURATION: Four Months
COMPENSATION: $33.75/hour + 1 meal per day provided by GR Performance.

GR Performance offers a best-in-class program committed to excellence in all aspects of human
performance. We are excited to announce that we are accepting applications for the position of
Strength & Conditioning Coach. Our strength coaches are responsible for contributing to the successful
development and execution of all GR Performance training programs. They participate in the planning,
design, and implementation of an effective and safe strategy to maximize the physical capabilities &
athletic potential of all clients.
Primary duties of a contract GR Performance Coach are inclusive of but not limited to:
• Assisting with the various individual & group training programs; both in-person and on the GRP
remote training platform
• Assessment and evaluation of client’s physical attributes to improve performance
• Performing miscellaneous related duties, when necessary
There is potential to become a full-time position. Can become a renewable contract position.

Requirements
Required Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science or Related
Experience: Some professional experience in strength & conditioning for general population, collegiate,
youth, and professional sports.
Licensure: CSCS or similar certification
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Working knowledge biomechanical patterns and physiological systems as
they pertain to various sports, specifically in the sport of hockey. Basic understanding of data collection
and data analysis. Ability to reason, recall, analyze and organize information in order to make
substantive and sometimes complex decisions reaching reasonable conclusions. Ability to identify and
comprehend potential issues and address them before they become problematic. Strong interpersonal
skills and the ability to work with diverse groups of people. Ability and desire to perform accurate,
detail-oriented work, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Ability to maintain poise under all
circumstances and effectively interact with people in a positive manner. Ability to communicate
effectively, both orally and in writing.
