Job Summary:
The Strength Coach, Athletics & Campus Recreation supports all aspects of strength and conditioning training for UFV varsity athletes and teams.
The Strength and Conditioning Coach oversees yearly training plans for all varsity athletes and assists with any strength and conditioning component offered in all UFV Sports camps. The Strength Coach oversees a student strength and conditioning team, and mentors UFV students who aspire to consider career options in the strength and conditioning field.

Qualifications:
- Completion of a post-secondary degree with a specialization in Kinesiology or related field.
- Recognition as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, preferably through the NCSA.
- Minimum two (2) years related experience, preferably in team strength and conditioning in high-performance sport.
- Evidence of strong customer service experience and skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong skills in relationship building and collaboration.
- Demonstrated strength in organizational skills, task prioritization, and goal setting.
- Ability to function with minimal supervision, remain calm under pressure, and work effectively in a team environment.
- Experience working with and maintaining confidentiality.
- Demonstrated knowledge of UFV programs and services.
